Monthly Meetings are held at 2:30 pm on the second Saturday in every month at at the Toronto Multi Purpose Centre (TMPC), 9 Thorne Street, Toronto NSW.
Everyone is welcome to come along to check out what we do. There is a $5 donation from everyone to help with sundry expenses and further minimal costs for masterclasses. You can also become a member.

In this session, Marj Kenny will lead a session on zines. A zine is a independently self published booklet often created by cutting and gluing text and images together to create stories. They often follow a theme A great session mixing craft skills and imagination.
A preview of the talks to be presented by a panel of our own talented members at the Write Here Festival in March. This presentation aims to inspire your writing by providing a tasting plate of what drives us to pen tall tales and true and how these were recently combined these ingredients into a successful anthology
In the lead up to the Alice Sinclair Memorial Writing competition this session will focus on tips and techniques for writing short stories.
This session will focus on writing historical non fiction, led by Pam Garfoot. Pam writes popular books about history in partnership with her sister Elizabeth Conway. Their book Making them Real: Finding a Queensland Past won them the Queensland Family History Society History Book of 2014.
This session will focus on poetry writing led by Ed Wright. Ed Wright is an author, critic and editor. He has published two books of poetry, six popular histories and an award winning novella.
Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the group will also hear from Westlakes elder, Danielle Chedzey, who will present a talk about Aboriginal stories
